Rule: Conn. Gen. Stat. §42-133ff (as amended by PA 24-142 §28) prohibits credit-card surcharges. Cash discounts and dual pricing remain allowed. Government, courts, and municipalities are excepted.
Disclosure: Cash discounts must be clearly disclosed; surcharges are not permitted for most sellers.
What this means for a $100 sale: On a $100 credit-card sale, a surcharge is not allowed here (customer pays $100.00).
