FAQ

Are my numbers sent to a server?
No. The math runs in your browser and nothing typed is uploaded or stored.
What does reverse mean for Stripe UK fees?
You enter the GBP net you want after Stripe’s percent + 20p fee. The calculator finds the gross charge and fee, rounding up so your net is at least your target.
Which rate does the reverse calculator use?
The same tier you select in the dropdown—standard UK (1.5% + 20p) by default, or premium UK, EEA, or international rates from Stripe’s GB pricing page.
Why round up the charge amount?
Stripe charges on the gross payment. Rounding the charge up to the next penny avoids undershooting your desired net after the fixed 20p and percent fee are applied.
Does this include VAT on Stripe fees?
No. This models the published processing percent + fixed fee only. VAT or other invoicing details depend on your Stripe account and location—check your Stripe invoices.
